The Sleep Well Group
Sleep Well is a 6-week program that helps you focus on the thoughts, feelings, and expectations about sleep that are keeping you up at night.
Using the science of sleep and the data that you collect about your particular sleep patterns, you’ll learn to identify things that you can do to start sleeping better.
Small groups of 2-5 adults allow for individualized attention as well as the opportunity to enjoy the camaraderie of others that are going through the same struggles and triumphs as you.
The group is offered virtually, in the evening, cutting down on travel time and allowing you to more easily fit it into your busy life.
Sleep Well is Helpful If…
You have trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up too early.
You are often so tired that you call out of work or skip activities with friends and family.
You feel like you need to drink multiple cups of coffee or take naps to make it through the day.
Your bedtimes and wake times are all over the place.
You can’t turn off your brain at night.
You dread bedtime because you are afraid to have another sleepless night.
You feel like you are the only one that has trouble sleeping.
What to Expect in Sleep Well
You will learn about how sleep works so that you can change your habits to make it work for you.
You will track your sleep using a simple sleep diary each morning and will send it to Dr. Cathy each week prior to the group.
Together, the group will review the sleep diary data you collected and we’ll set a bedtime and wake time that will improve your sleep quality.
Once you are getting good quality of sleep, we will work to increase the amount of sleep you are getting.
You’ll try new CBT-I skills between sessions to improve your sleep.
You’ll talk about thoughts and feelings that impact your sleep and learn ways to manage them.
Sleep Well Logistics
The Sleep Well group is conducted via a HIPAA-compliant video platform, so you can attend therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
The program consists of 6 weekly, hour-long sessions that are held on Tuesdays at 6pm ET.
You are expected to attend each session; each week you will learn information that builds on the previous session.
Prior to registering for the group, we will have a free 15 minute consultation call to ensure that you will benefit from the group.
You must be physically located in one of the PSYPACT Participating States for each session.
The total cost of the program is $450, which is $75 for each session.
I am an Out of Network provider. If your insurance provides out of network benefits, I can provide you with the documentation you need to receive a reimbursement.
