You’re the one who’s holding it all together. You put on a happy face and keep moving forward so everyone else can believe that everything is ok. You are juggling countless responsibilities and always putting others' needs before your own. It’s starting to wear on you. You’re feeling overwhelmed and not sure how much longer you can keep up the charade. You know something has to change. It feels impossible to focus on taking care of yourself, yet your body is turning against you and making it clear that it needs some of your attention. You long for a sense of control in your life; to find balance the balance between caring for your loved ones and prioritizing your own health and wellbeing.

I work with people like you, who already had a lot going on their lives before they got sick. Now they have to do it all and stay on top of medications, doctor appointments, and daily tasks to manage their symptoms and feel healthier. Everything feels hard. They start therapy tired and scared and believing that no one else really understands, so they move through life like nothing is wrong. They look like they have everything under control, but inside they feel like they don’t have control over anything.

I provide a comforting space where they can express what they truly feel, without scaring their friends or hurting their spouse’s feelings. We work together to craft a personalized plan to help them regain control. We develop strategies to focus their time on the things that are most important to them. They become empowered to accept their situation, acknowledge their feelings, change the way they think, prioritize their health, and find peace.
