Workshops for Healthcare Providers
Schedule a workshop.
Healthcare professionals play an essential role in supporting patients’ health and wellbeing, yet many clinical challenges involve more than medical knowledge alone. These workshops are designed to provide practical, evidence-based tools that help providers support meaningful health behavior change and address common health concerns such as sleep. Trainings focus on skills that can be applied immediately in clinical practice, including motivational interviewing and foundational strategies for improving sleep and supporting healthy behavior change.
I also offer workshops designed directly for patients, clients, or community members. These interactive sessions focus on practical strategies to support health and wellbeing, such as improving sleep, coping with chronic illness, and building sustainable self-care habits. Workshops can be tailored to the specific needs of your population and designed to fit a variety of settings, including healthcare practices, community organizations, and wellness programs.
Dr. Cathy Bykowski is a clinical health psychologist who specializes in supporting people as they navigate the psychological and behavioral impacts of health conditions, including physical illness and sleep difficulties.

Sleep Foundations, Insomnia, and CBT-I
Poor sleep affects nearly every area of life, including mood, relationships, productivity, and physical health. Many clients and patients report difficulty sleeping, either as a primary concern or as a symptom of another presenting issue. Although most of us recognize the importance of sleep, misconceptions and misinformation about sleep are abundant. This presentation will provide a foundational understanding of how sleep works, along with an overview of cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), the gold standard treatment for chronic sleep difficulties. You'll leave feeling more confident discussing sleep in session and equipped with practical strategies to support clients who want to improve their sleep.
